On Monday, I wrote about self confidence and the flip side to that is self doubt. Especially when you’re doing an unpredictable and ever changing activity, doubting yourself is bound to creep in! But conquering that feeling is the best way to build an even bigger and stronger self confidence! But if your response to doubt is:
- “I can’t”
- “My body doesn’t do that”
- “I don’t want to”
- Excuse after excuse
- Justifying why it’s reasonable to doubt
Then your energy and efforts are being spent on sabotaging yourself instead of placing in the thoughts surrounding success, determination, and just downright trying your best!

Waiter Walks (3 Lengths on each arm)
Laying Plate Presses
Laying Plate Tricep Press


MOBILIZE -
Crab Bridges
Banded pulls (activation)


COACH PREP -
Review bench press form and spotting
Work up to workout weight (for 6 minutes)
Then everyone will kick off at the same time! :)


WOD -
“Bench Press Trio”
(Last done on Oct. 8th 2018! Check your library and try to beat your prior score!)
Complete as many reps as possible at each weight before racking.
Allow 5 minutes between each lift!
